Job Description: 

Cartographer

(VACANT)

 

The successful candidate will report to the Chief Cartographer (Mapping Services)

Job Purpose

To construct and compile new and revised digital maps or charts from source materials

 

Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • First Degree in Cartography, Geography, Geomatics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Urban and Regional Planning or an equivalent program from a recognized institution and one (1) years experience working in a related area.

or

  • Diploma/Certificate in an Earth Related Science field, related basic training in Cartography or Introductory GIS and two (2) years’ experience.
  • Working knowledge of GIS applications and the use of handheld data collection devices

 

Remuneration Package: - Salary Range (Level 5) - $2,803,771.00 -$3,770,760.00 per annum
